End of Watch Report February 2019

In February of 2019, there were a total of 11 line of duty deaths in the United States.  Of those 11 deaths, six were the result of felonious gunfire and one was the result of inadvertent gunfire.  The remaining five deaths were: one heart attack, one struck by vehicle, one auto crash, and one vehicular assault.

The total number of line of duty deaths for 2019 is 21 at the end of February, which represents a 12% decrease over this time last year.
